About NLS Tools
NLS Tools is a long-established manufacturer and supplier of cutting tools. Originally called North London Saw Works, the company was founded by Bill Day in 1920 and based in Wood Green, North London - hence the name North London Saw Works.
As the company expanded, it took on the agency for Hakansson bandsaw blades and began to supply these to the metal-cutting and meat and fish-cutting industries as well as to its previous woodworking customers.
Now, the supply of bandsaw blades makes up a third of the company's turnover. As well as bandsaw blades, NLS continues to supply and service industrial woodworking cutting tools and to manufacture carbide tipped knives for the woodworking trade.
